You can keep extra luggage in the base village for any particular trek. There are no cloak roo charges applicable. Its free of cost.
If you are going on a trek don’t expect mobile signals. There are few spots on the trails of few treks where you might find a single tower or something but it always depends if that is enough to make a call or not.
We use portable toilet tents for sanitation needs, as permanent structures may not available. These are dry toilets, so please bring wet wipes or tissue paper for personal hygiene.
For this trek you just need a day bag to carry during the trek, extra luggage can be left behind at the camp site. Proper bedded swiss tents are available on this trek.
Start running/walking at least 3-4 Kms everyday.
If it’s a snow trek a good trekking shoe is mandatory. If you buy a new shoe do walk for few days so that it fits you well and doesn’t leave you with blisters while you trek. If it is a summer trek or post monsoon trek a shoe with good grip and ankle support will do
It’s a strict no. If you fall sick during the trek due to alcohol consumption H2H has the right to cancel your trek and send you back to base village. No expenses shall be refunded in that case and you will have to pay additional for stay at base village.
On Day 1, you will be picked up from Dehradun Railway Station at 6:30 AM. It’s important to arrive at the station at least an hour before the pick-up time. The drive to Bhangeli, which is situated at 7,630 ft, covers a distance of 194 km and will take approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival in Bhangeli, check into your accommodation or campsite and rest for the night.
On Day 2, you’ll embark on a trek from Bhangeli to Rikoda, ascending to 10,958 ft. The trek covers a distance of 5.85 km and will take around 6 hours. Expect a scenic route with a gradual ascent through lush forests and meadows.
Day 3 involves trekking from Rikoda to Dokrani, which is at 12,310 ft. This segment of the trek covers 3.05 km and should take approximately 3-4 hours. During this trek, you’ll have the opportunity to view “Gurtan e Hamara,” a notable feature along the trail.
On Day 4, you’ll trek from Dokrani to Thalotya, traveling via Dokrani Bugyal, which stands at 12,933 ft. The distance covered is 2.10 km, and this part of the trek will take about 3 hours. This section includes traversing high-altitude meadows.
Day 5 is the longest trek of the journey, taking you from Thalotya to Thiriya, with a visit to Gidra Top, which reaches 13,973 ft. This trek spans 9.8 km and takes between 10 to 11 hours, featuring a challenging climb to Gidra Top and a descent to Thiriya.
On Day 6, you’ll make the return trek from Thiriya back to Bhangeli. This section covers 6.8 km and takes around 5 hours. The descent provides a different perspective of the landscapes you have previously traversed.
Finally, on Day 7, you will drive back to Dehradun from Bhangeli. The return journey covers the same distance of 194 km and will take approximately 7 hours. Make sure to leave Bhangeli with sufficient time to reach Dehradun comfortably.

1. Diamox (1 Strip): An essential part of Live Saving Drugs, Diamox helps reduce the chances of Acute Mountain Sickness on the trek.
2. Dolo 650 (5 tablets): A paracetamol that tackles fever and mild pain.
3. Avomine (4 tablets): If you are prone to motion sickness, carry Avomine. Take one-half hour before the start of your road journey.
4. Combiflam (5 tablets): Useful for sudden twists or muscle strains. Combiflam is a pain reliever containing paracetamol.
5. Digene (4 tablets): Take it if you feel the food, you’ve consumed is undigested. Alert your trek leader immediately, as it could be a sign of AMS.
6. ORS (6 packs): Consume an ORS pack at least once a day, usually mid-day during your trek. It replenishes essential salts lost while trekking. Tip: It also makes cold water easier to drink.
7. Knee Brace (optional): Carry this if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.
